1. About LetterFlow

LetterFlow is an AI-assisted cover letter generation tool. You provide a job description and your CV, and the tool produces a draft cover letter as a starting point for your application.

LetterFlow is operated as a personal project based in the United Kingdom.

2. Disclaimer — No Guarantees

LetterFlow generates AI-assisted text as a writing aid only. We make no guarantees about:

• Interview outcomes or job offers
• The suitability of generated content for any specific role
• The accuracy or completeness of the output
• Whether the output will be accepted by any employer or applicant tracking system

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any cover letter before submitting it. Do not submit AI-generated content without reading it first.

3. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

One-time purchases (£2.99): Due to the digital nature of the service (the cover letter is generated immediately upon payment), we are unable to offer refunds once the letter has been generated and displayed.

Monthly subscriptions (£7.99/month): You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

If you experience a technical fault and did not receive a generated letter after payment, contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate.

4. Your Data

When you use LetterFlow, you submit a job description and CV content. This data is:

• Held temporarily in memory solely to generate your cover letter
• Passed to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the output
• Not stored permanently, sold, or used for any other purpose
• Discarded after your session ends or the letter is delivered

Do not include sensitive personal information (National Insurance numbers, bank details, passwords) in the content you submit.

Anthropic may process submitted content in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LetterFlow to:

• Generate content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Misrepresent your qualifications or experience to employers
• Attempt to abuse or circumvent the payment system
• Resell or redistribute generated output as a service

6. Intellectual Property

The cover letter generated from your inputs is yours to use freely. LetterFlow makes no claim over your output. The LetterFlow name, branding, and codebase remain the property of the operator.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LetterFlow and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to unsuccessful job applications.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
